Mm. We don't know how we got here or who might have been here before us so that's only speculation. But we have everything that we might need provided for us and none of the strange things that happen are harmful even if they are annoying. Most of them involve making us interact with each other. The fountain can heal almost anything, and for a lot of the people here this place is more peaceful than their home life.
Not that we can tell. There is a strange...being? That shows up in our dreams sometimes. Collectively, I mean. It doesn't seem to match with anything that I can pull up in the library.
