If you catch him with his clothes off, his back is covered with whip scars and his chest is branded. ABOUT: A serious man who lives seriously. One of the accomplished scions of a sect famous for having thousands of rules and upholding righteousness. Committed to both rules and righteousness. Stuffy. A fuddy-duddy. Overly formal, stone-faced, and unable to express himself at length about emotional matters. He is also very passionate underneath all of that, especially with regards to Wei Wuxian, the man he's been in love with since they were dumb teenagers. Last Resort is the second game he's followed him to, after Popdrop. Doubles, timelines, and horny team game-induced emotional damage nonwithstanding, he's determined to stay by Wei Wuxian's side, no matter how many versions of him show up. ABILITIES: Lan Wangji is a cultivator, someone who trains to refine spiritual energy within his body and deal with various supernatural/undead shenanigans! He normally has a lot of spiritual powers and techniques at his disposal (for combat, energy transfer, healing, binding people, etc.), and is skilled at swordfighting, hand-to-hand, and some kinds of talisman spells. He also uses a guqin (zither) for combat and communicating with/suppressing spirits and the undead. A lot of his techniques work on living people, too. He's also very strong physically, even with powers inactive. OTHER: Characters sensitive to spiritual energy can mark that he's quite powerful. Those who are undead or dark-aligned may be attracted to that energy and/or want to eat it. He is also an exact double of strikingchords, other than being 14 years older. This is not super obvious physically, but he is a little more built than the younger one.
