[Wei Wuxian can perhaps tell Lan Wangji's being careful not to drag him in, to pin him down or force anything in turn, but there's only greed for what he's offering, and no hesitation in taking it, returning it, until they're hot and dizzy and their hearts are pounding]

[even while they're both stumbling over one another with care, it doesn't take long for him to press himself into Lan Wangji further, further, tipping him back until he's on the floor with Wei Wuxian flat on top of him, hands pushing under his robes to feel skin and sucking bruises into his neck]
